UFC Vegas 61 PrizePicks Breakdown

UFC is back after the one week break and it’s a little bittersweet because we’re going on break next week as well. After this weird one card in three weeks schedule we get the final stretch of the year started with two more banger pay-per views left. This week it’s...

Coming into this week is going to be taking a little bit of a different route! From now on, I will be providing four fights I am targeting each week! I know I am spending a lot of DraftKings salary this week but it can be worth it!

Nassourdine Imavov vs Joaquin Buckley

This fight will be a banger! Buckley is coming off a three-fight win streak. Buckley is great on the feet with the striking power he brings to the table. Buckley is coming into this fight with his fighting style improving fight by fight. Imavov is amazing on the feet with a big volume output from his striking. Imavov will be able to pay off his DraftKings pricing with a potential knockout. Do we see a leg kick knockout from Imavov? It is possible! I am all in on the volume from Imavov at the $9,000 DraftKings price tag.

Charles Jourdain vs Nathaniel Wood

Featherweight matchup and this matchup screams fireworks in my opinion. Jourdain is coming off a loss and has knockout power despite the wrestling defense that was his downfall last fight. Jourdain is experienced in the cage and the striking output is what makes him push the pace. Wood is okay on the feet; if this stays on the feet, Jourdain can win this fight with his striking style. Wood is going to want to push for the fight on the ground and not leave it on the feet. I am all over Jourdain to knock out Wood for the win. Jourdain should have no problem paying off his DraftKings price tag at $8,400 is juicy!

Robert Whittaker vs Marvin Vettori.

The CO-Main Event! Vettori is great on the feet and has great takedown defense. Whittaker on the opposite side is great on the feet and has a defense for days. I am just worried overall about how Vettori is coming into this fight mentally on which version we will get out of him.

Whittaker should be able to work with Vettori however he wants to. I am all over Whittaker to control the fight and be able to earn a finish. I don’t see Whittaker not pushing the pace all fight and wanting to bounce back in an explosive way. Coming in at an $8,800 price tag on DraftKings is worthwhile.

Cyril Gane vs Tai Tuivasa

The Main Event time! Gane is going to be the better physical fighter in the cage compared to Tai. Gane is coming off a loss but it was against one of the best in the world to Francis. Tai is on a winning streak but his resume is not like Gane’s. Gane is good on the feet and accurate with his striking. Gane is also going to have the home crowd behind him heavily in his favor. Tai on the opposite end is powerful with the striking and not bad on the feet. Gane I think can handle this fight on the defensive end and offensive end. Tai will always have the knockout power to pose a dangerous threat but Gane I think will work around the power. In a five-round fight, I am liking Gane to rack up significant strikes which will be able to make him pay off his DraftKings price tag at $9,500. Gane being the highest-priced fighter on DraftKings is going to lower the ownership percentage on Gane, but I love it!
