I'm going with Yana here. He looked great in her last fight and even though it was a pretty non-standard interview, she said post fight that her previous 2 camps were a disaster because of breastfeeding. I have no idea if that is true or not, but I do know she looked great in her last fight and that Miesha is about as old and one dimensional as you can get in this division. Miesha will charge forward, desperately look for takedowns and if she isn't able to get one, she will be mauled on her feet. i think Yana will have too good fo footwork and too good of striking for Miesha. Yana is the pick and if a 3.5 bet is on the table, i'll grab it.
Yana Santos
Yana Santos is a high volume striker who lands almost 5 significant strikes per minute. She does not have a ton of power but she has plenty of output and mixes things up well. She has nice kicks and uses them to maintain distance. She has offensive wrestling as well which we've seen her lean on in the past, but it does come with a low 53% accuracy and an even lower 42% defense. She is coming off the bounce back win over Chelsea Chandler where the striking and speed were on full display.
Miesha Tate
Miesha Tate is the former Bantamweight champion who has fought some of the best women on the planet. She is also the Celebrity Big Brother champion where she dominated from start to finish. Technique wise, Miesha is a good wrestler and grappler with technical striking. The problem is she is older, doesn't seem committed and literally looked like she she has been fighting in slow motion these last few years. She's very inactive but is making a return after a submission win over Julia Avila in 2023.
