Yair Rodriguez vs. Patricio Pitbull

RODRIGUEZ VS PITBULL

I get that Yair is exciting, young and dangerous, but he's a quitter. When the pressure is on and things get tough, he quits. If Yair can control the striking range and exchanges then he should be able to march through Pitbull the same way he did Josh Emmett for the interim title in 2023. This fight will literally come down to Yair's ability to keep this fight standing because if Pitbull can push a grappling pace, he will break Yair. Pitbull only has one single unavenged loss in his entire career at 145 and that was back in 2010. I am going crazy picking dogs on this card and I will do it again here. I think Pitbull can grind to a win.

Yair Rodriguez

Yair Rodriguez is a fun athletic guy who will spin kick his way to a KO and entertain you the entire time he is in the cage. He is tough to deal with early because his striking is so unpredictable and even if it opens him up for takedowns he is capable enough to throw up a submission or create a scramble to stand back up. He has been taken down in 11 of his 14 UFC fights and lost his last 2 because of it. He's a very dangerous guy early who can't handle wrestling pressure and will break if things get tough.

Patricio Pitbull

Patricio Pitbull may not be a household name to the UFC fanbase, but he is a phonomenal fighter and for a massive chunk of his career was one of the best fighters on the planet. To give you an idea of his dominance, here is a wild stat, he won hist first tournament 2013 and then fought for or defended a multitude of belts 16 times since then. He was the lightweight champion, the featherweight champion and even fought for the bantamweight championship of the world. He is a welcomed addition to the UFC, but at 37 years old, it may be a little late.
