UFC 302 is set for June 1st, and will be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The early prelim bouts start at 6:15pm eastern with the main card beginning at 10pm eastern. The main card is absolutely loaded with great matchups that I can't wait to witness, and the prelims won't let you down either with plenty of prospect level talent being showcased. Below I have identified some of my favorite betting spots on the UFC 302 card. Please be aware that these are just recommendations and not financial advice in any way.

JAILTON ALMEIDA | MONEYLINE | (-250)

I do think Almeida is safe to put in a parlay. In the past Almeida has had a ridiculous price, being -500 against Lewis and Rozenstruik for example. He was able to have a lot of success wrestling against Blaydes in the first round which nobody has been able to do before. I’m pretty confident he can do the same to Romanov. Romanov is a great wrestler himself but he have seen him gas out before so he won’t be able to keep up with Almeida for 3 rounds. I like Almeida by submission as well.

ISLAM MAKHACHEV  | WINS BY KO/TKO  | (+225)

I do really like Makhachev to win this fight. It’s been rough seeing him dominate my favourite fighters but now it’s time to acknowledge how good he is. I do think Makhachev finishes Poirier and submission is +110 on Draftkings at the moment. I am predicting him to win by ground and pound. He could maybe catch Poirier on the feet with his improved striking and this prop covers that as well, but I would be very surprised. Benoit was able to successfully take down Poirier in round 1 before he gassed out and I think Islam will be able to take him down as well.
