Tom Nolan is a -1000 favorite. That essentially means the bookies think he wins this fight 91% of the time. I think he wins it 98% of the time which means there is some incredible value here and I will be mortgaging not only my house but my parents' house as well…. and while that comment was laced with sarcasm, Tom Nolan steamrolls here and I have no idea how Alex Reyes is fighting in the UFC, let along on a PPV.
Tom Nolan
Tom Nolan is a long and lean striker. His frame is almost identical to Corey Sandhaggens but his striking is more traditional. He is accurate and technical, but has no problem getting into a brawl. Outside of his lone loss, he has a solid chin as well.I have seen him in more than one fight eat more than one overhand just to keep coming forward. He has lots of pressure, lots of volume, tons of power, but not much takedown defense. He is coming off the bounce back win over Victor Martinez where he finished him in the first.
Alex Reyes
Alex Reyes is light heavyweight Dominic Reyes' brother but fights very differently. He's hard to break down because he essentially has only fought once in 6 years and that was a 1st round KO. If you didn't know, he was out for 6 years with some major health issues. Prior to his layoff he was a forward pressure guy who would brawl on the feet and quickly look to grapple. On top he would posture up and throw heavy punches looking for a stoppage. But ince he layoff he is stiff, slow and chinny. He is coming off the first round KO loss to Charlie Campbell
