Both of these guys just blew through their last opponents. But that doesn't tell you much because their last opponents are borderline not UFC level. If you zoom out and look at the entirety of their UFC careers, you will see that Moises has had more high level fights but Ludovit has been more dominant in his. I like Ludovit here. I think the striking will be too good and the takedown defense will hold up. If Thiago gets the wrestling going then it can be a long night but I don't think he will and I have a half of a unit on Ludovit at -125
Thiago Moises
Thiago Moises is a very slick grappler who does a great job of staying dangerous while composed. Meaning he is maintining position but still working towards submissions. Even though he is primarily a grappler who averages almost 2 takedowns per fight, he has technical striking and can hang with most people. He uses solid low kicks to set up his takedowns and is surprisingly young given his experience. He is coming off a win over short notice step up Jesse Butler where he had a great takedown and excellent control but looked almost uninterested until the finish.
Ludovit Klein
Ludovit Klein is a very good striker. He's smooth, fast and accurate. He does a really nice job keeping fights technical and hiding kicks behind his jab. He never throws anything lazy or gets out of position. He has a solid 83% takedown defense and wil look to offesnively wrestle if he is losing the striking exchanges. He is coming off a finish win over AJ Cunningham where he did what a -900 favorite should do.
