Charles was on our call in show a few weeks ago. He took fan questions, talked about his UFC career and overall it was a great episode. So check that out. Regarding this fight, he made it clear he is in insane shape and wildly prepared. I expect Charles to do what he does, which is pressure, be the cleaner striker and take over as the fight goes on. Obviously Sumudaerji is dangerous, but we saw that Charles can be a dog and survive in the Maksum fight. Charles is the pick and I am very confident.

Sumudaerji

Sumudaerji is a fast striker with laser accuracy and solid volume. He doesn't have much power but because he is so fast and his movement is so well timed he can get stoppages. He has a great in and out style and can out decision most people who aren't looking to take him down. He has an impressive 100% takedown accuracy, but that is misleading because he only has one single takedown in his UFC career. He is coming off the submission loss to Tim Elliott where he was taken down and subbed in the first.

Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is a busy, technical striker with decent takedown defense and really nice hand speed. He has nice output at almost 5 signifigant strikes per minute and can keep that pace for 15 minutes. He is 5-4 in the ufc but all 4 losses are to quality fighters who turned into wrestlers and didn't strike. He is now one of the most active fighters on the planet and looking for his 4th win on 2024.
