Another weird spot here. Rongzhu is on a 4 fight win streak, but it is over regional guys. He headhunts and if he doesn't find power or takedowns he can struggle. Chris is a well rounded guy who has multiple ways to win. He isn't very dangerous, but he has experience and composure. His ability to snatch things in scrambles can be the difference here. i am going out on a limb and picking the dog here for his second upset win in the UFC.
Rongzhu
RongZhu is a good striker who picks his shots well and has solid power. When Zhu is marching forward and dictating the pace, he is a killer. But when he's being backed up and when he's reacting, he can end up a step behind. He has a negative striking differential which is crazy becuse he averages more than 2 takedowns per fight with a 63% takedown accuracy. So that means he spends the majority of the fight on the ground and still managed to get out struck.
Chris Padilla
Chris Padilla is a pretty well rounded guy that has had mixed success on the local scene. He likes to come forward, breifly strike, move to a clinch and work a takedown. He's not great at anything but he does pressure forward and he is pretty durable. He's very explosive, especially with his takedowns, but he does struggle keeping people down. He coming off the short notice win over James Llontop
