Robelis let a lot of people down in his last fight. I can understand the lacking takedown defense as that is new to him, but the gassing as early as he did was a bit of a concern. With that being said his last opponent, Waldo Cortes Acosta, is very good and turned into a Nurmagomedov. This fight is set up to get Robelis a win. He is 36 and a monster, the UFC needs to build him as quickly as possible and Austen is a perfect matchup. He's also very big, former NFL player, but has no chin. As long as Robelis can defend at least one takedown attempt, he should win here. He is -400 here, but as surprising as it may be, that is a discount because of his takedown defense from the last fight.
Robelis Despaigne
Robelis Despaigne is an absolute monster of a human being. He is a massve 6 foot 7 and an olympic taekwando medalist. He has insane power in both his hands and his feet. If you go watch his Tae Kwan Do matches you will see speed, atheltecism and timing as well. He does get hit though because his hands are low as he's bouncing in and out. He is coming off his first MMA loss to Waldo Cortes where he faded fast and couldn't defend the takedowns.
Austen Lane
Austen Lane is a former NFL player who started his MMA career about 8 years ago. He is a large, powerful, athetic guy who has competed at the highest level in sports. He's fast for his size and like to jump in with a flurry of strikes and then jump back out. He can grapple as well using his size and athletecism to get you to the ground. In most cases he seems to prefer to grapple than to strike. He is faster, strong and more athletic than 90% of the heavyweight division but he has been on the struggle bus and did just get KO'd by Johanna Diniz
