Nicolas Dalby is tough as hell, always in great shape and one of the best breathers of all time. But he's also 40 and not half the striker that Randy is. I think this is a pretty straight forward win. Randy boxed up Dalby, Dalby holds him against the cage and does the weird breathing, randy does more boxing and randy wins a 29-28 decision because 1 judge still cares about cage control.
Randy Brown
Randy Brown is a very good striker who uses his range really well. He's stupid tall for this weight class and takes advantage of that. He uses long jabs and kicks to keep you at bay and then when he's ready he will use his speed to initiate solid boxing exchanges. He has 9 takedowns in the UFC and while he doesn't go to them often, he has nice trips with solid jiu-jitsu on the mat. He's very good and a lot of fun to watch. He is coming off the decision loss to Bryan Battle where he landed more strikes and had the only 2 takedowns.
Nicolas Dalby
Nicolas Dalby is a Karate style striker who stays mobile and switches stances. . He has insane breathing techniques but they clearly work because Dalby has ridiculous cardio. He has a good amount power as well but he can be hittable himself. He averages more than 1 takedown per fight but he does have a very low 27% takedown accuracy. His striking is ok, his grappling is ok and all in all he is a well rounded guy who will work hard but is not dangerous. He is an absolute dog, but does get dropped with power. He is coming off the close decision loss to Rinat Fakhretedinov and a cancelled fight against Elizeu Zaleski.
