Randy Brown vs. Elizeu Zaleski
BROWN VS ZALESKI

Instant gut reaction is that Randy wins and Zalski is old. But then 30 seconds of tape study and a quick look at his last fight remind you that Zaleski is nasty. He only has 2 losses in the last 9 years and one of them was a bad decision to Salikhov. I do think Randy wins here, he should have the power and certainly the striking technique, but Zalski is a gamer and could gut his way through some trouble. Randy will be the pick but I Zaleski gives Deigo Ferreira vibes with his durability and forward pressure.

Randy Brown

Randy Brown is a very good striker who uses his range really well. He's stupid tall for this weight class and takes advantage of that. He uses long jabs and kicks to keep you at bay and then when he's ready he will use his speed to intiate solid boxing exchanges. He has 9 takedowns in the UFC and while he doesn't go to them often, he has nice trips with solid jiu-jitsu on the mat. He's very good and a lot of fun to watch. He is coming off the first round KO win over an aging Muslim Salikhov.

Elizeu Zaleski

Elizeu Zaleski is a solid striker with real power and athleticism who can also be dangerous on the ground. He has a very busy and active striking style where he is contantly moving. He has real power, real athletecism and real cardio which make him a very dangerous man. He is coming off the draw with Rinat Fakhretidinov where he was dropped early but had an incredible 3rd round rally to lock in a 10-8 and force a draw.
