Rafa Garcia vs. Vinc Pichel

GARCIA VS PICHEL

Vinc and I have some weird twitter history and beef. Last year before his Bonfim fight, we uploaded our breakdown to twitter, as we always have, and he lost his mind. The weirdest part about his insane social media outburst was not that he called everyone a non-binary liberal, but that he was trigged by mostly compliments. I highlighted his durability and skillset but picked Bonfim because of youth and a jab. That didn't stop him from a full spiral. It even got to the point where we challenged each other to a grappling match. i went as far as DMing him to set him up, but i was left on read. As far as this breakdown is concerned, I actually think the highly sensitive and easily trigged Vinc Pichel can win this fight. While he's a cry baby who lets words hurt him, he is physically very tough and not a quitter. As long as he isn't signficantly slower here, I think he can get wrestling as well as striking going and sneak out a close win over a much younger, but much less durable Rafa Garcia.

Rafa Garcia

Rafa Garcia is a good grappler with heavy hands. He used to be an absolute dog when he fought and even when he was completely gassed, he still pushed and still chased KOs. But he has been different as of late. He has been very inactive and doesn't seem to have that same fire. While he was once a grinding grappler with very real power in his hands, he seems to be a jabbing striker as of late who doen't like the grind. He is coming off the TKO loss to Grant Dawson who was able to control on top and pound away.

Vinc Pichel

Vinc “From Hell” Pichel is a pretty good in and out striker. He has lots of movement and picks his shots well. I wouldn't say he is technical but he does time things well. He also has solid offensive wrestling when and averages almost 3 takedowns per fight but whats most surprising is that even though he is a very good offensive wrestler, he gets taken down pretty often. He has a 25% takedown defense and has been taken down 24 times in the UFC. He is coming off a decision loss Ismael Bonfim where we saw the durability, but also the age, he was essentially a step behind the entire fight.
