Eleven fights are on the slate for UFC Vegas 106 at the good old Apex. Headlined by Gilbert Burns and the undefeated Michael Morales in one of only two fights on the card that have a ranked fighter competing. This slate is….interesting to say the least, when the Co-Main is Paul Craig against Rodolfo Bellato, there will be some interesting fights to pick and build your lineups from. Eleven fights also condenses ownership so it will be a wild week if you are trying to be unique.

MICHAEL MORALES
Averages 5.4 significant strikes per minute, one takedown per round, and has a solid 92% takedown defense. Burns is an elite grappler who will look to get the fight to the ground, and if he cannot get Morales down he will get torn up by the guy who is 13 years younger, has an 8 inch reach advantage, and higher offensive output.
NURSULTON RUZIBOEV
Coming off a big 2nd round KO win where he scored 2 knockdowns, and having won 3 of his four UFC fights all by knockout, Ruziboev will fight Stoltzfus who will look to get Nursulton to the ground. When he wins, Ruziboev scores 100, and either of these fighters typically go to decision. They have the same reach, but Ruziboev has a 5 inch height advantage, and in his 35 professional fights he has 33 finishes, with 20 coming via submission.

MELQUIZAEL COSTA
Melq is coming off 4 wins in his last 5 UFC fights, his last two scoring over 100 DK points with a win by submission and a decision win. Erosa scores well in his wins, but I want the guy who is 7 years younger and can win the grappling exchanges and submit him.
HYUNSUNG PARK
Park has good power, has won both of his UFC fights with one by a submission and the other by a KO. He averages 4.15 significant strikes per minute, sports a 100% takedown defense and is another of the younger undefeated guys who is looking to keep his 0. He has the upside for getting a finish either on the feet or on the ground, so he is the pick.

SODIQ YUSUFF
Santos got gifted a win by the judges in his last fight, and Yusuff is coming off being demolished by Diego Lopes. Yusuff scored 98 points in a loss in his fight before Lopes, and I think we see him bully Santos here and get back to his normal ways. He averages 5.66 significant strikes per minute, looks for submissions when he gets his opponents on the ground, and is priced where a win with his style will more than pay off.
PAUL CRAIG
Bellato is a wild man who has looked really good during his two UFC fights and then gassed and got 10-8’d to get a draw with Crute last time out. Craig has lost 3 in a row and 4 of 5, but he has fought such a higher level of competition that I think the price tag on him being 6800 against an unproven Bellato is wild. Any win and Craig pays off his salary, and we know how elite he is on the ground.
