Price Point Picks: UFC Saudi Arabia

Best DraftKings Plays for UFC Saudi Arabia

This weekend’s UFC Fight Night in Saudi Arabia has some very intriguing fights, as they always do when the UFC visits that part of the world. We originally had 13 fights on the card and we have lost 2 so far. For DFS purposes that makes it much tougher as it consolidates ownership to the same plays and gives us less options to pick from overall. We have a few guys who rarely fight on the card, guys making their debut, and Izzy who dominated the middleweight division for almost half a decade and now we get to see if he is on the downside to finish his career or not. It starts early, 9am est, so we get to enjoy our Saturday nights after making some money during the day.

For anyone who hasn’t read this article before, this series will be released every week on Wednesday and will cover the slate by isolating the fighters that I like within the various salary groups. Please be aware that these plays are subject to change as the week goes on. $9,000+ PRICE POINT

TERRANCE MCKINNEY

He can be very wild, but the guy averages 4.5 significant strikes per minute and over a takedown per round. He is a wild man who has 14 first round finishes in 15 wins, splitting them between 7 KO/TKO and 8 submissions, so he is live to get a first round finish here and score 100+

MUHAMMAD NAIMOV

He should look to control Ofli with his wrestling, which we know pays off big for DFS with the takedowns and control time racking up. He isn’t overly active with significant strikes with an average of 3 per minute, but 2 takedowns per fight and averages finishes more often than not.

$8,000 – $8,900 PRICE POINT

JASMINE JASUDAVICIUS

Jazz averages almost 4 significant strikes per minute, nearly a takedown per round and is coming off 3 impressive wins in a row including a fight where she scored 169 DK points in three rounds. MBS hasn’t beaten anyone good in a long time, and I expect Jazz to rack up the points again.

MIKE DAVIS

Davis has averaged 108 points in his 4 wins in a row. His wrestling should mitigate Ziam’s, he has KO power and while they’re both riding winning streaks coming in, Davis has more impressive wins

Under $8,000 PRICE POINT

NASSOURDINE IMAVOV

We get 5 rounds with someone who pushes the pace more with 4.5 sig strikes per minute and just under a takedown per 15 minutes. Izzy has last 3 of his last 4 fights, getting finished in 2 of them and I think Imavov goes with the grappling approach DDP used to beat Izzy and wilts the gas tank of the former champ.

JAIRZINHO ROZENSTRUIK

Bigi Boy is coming in off b2b wins, and really when you look at his strength of schedule with fights his losses are to Gane, Volkov, Almeida and Blaydes who are all at the upper echelon of the heavyweight division. Sergei has looked very human his last couple fights, and if Volkov can out point him, look for Rozenstruik to do the same and if he Sergei presses and leaves an opening there’s a KO incoming.
