This is what we are going to do here boys, we are picking Josefine to win because she is the better striker and I think can use her range to touch up Piera. But we are betting on Piera. Because Josefine is a 2-1 favorite here, we will get a +3.5 bet (the spread). We will essentially be buying points on the judges scorecards and the way the math boils down, we essentially just need Piera to win a single round. So if Piera has success grappling and wins a round but loses 2 others, the bet hits. If she wins outright, the bet hits. If she loses a split decision the bet hits. The only way we lose this bet is if Josefine wins by finish or a 30-27 across the board – i'm over simplifying a bit there, but that is the jist. The odds don't exist yet for this bet, but it will likely be around -150 compared to the +190 moneyline, but obviously we get a ton of protection.

Piera Rodriguez

Piera Rodriguez is a nasty striker with very real finishing ability. She plots forward and lets her hands fly. She knows what's she's doing, but she does wing punches from her hips and puts everything into them. She has pretty good takedown defense at 66% and is defensively sound on the ground. She has plenty of takedown offense as well with 13 takedowns in 5 fights, her issue however is control on top. She is coming off the DQ loss to Ariane Carnelossi where she was winning the fight but got frustrated in the second round when she couldn't pass guard and decided to bomb headbutts.

Josefine Knuttson

Josephine Knuttson is an accomplished kickboxer who uses forward pressure and combinations to overwhelm her opponents. Her volume is impressive on her way in and she does a great job blasting kicks on her way out. While she is a striker, she can grapple as well. She is mostly looking for cage control but if she ends up on top she has solid pressure. Her takedown defense is not very good and her constant forward pressure can open her up. She is coming off the decision win over Julia Polastri where she was taken down 3 times.
