This is absolutely a win or go home type matchup. Two aging vets that have been struggling recently. Even though Ovince has the more recent win, I don't think he wins this matchup. Ryan is still dangerous and likely takes this. Ryan won't be as gun shy as Kennedy was and far more physically imposing despite similar heights. Lets hope to a 2.5 round line so we can jump on the under.
Ovince St. Preux
Ovince St. Preux is a talented guy but has made some career missteps with the weight class changes and short notice step ups. Style wise he is a very good striker with power and technique. He also averages a little more than 1 takedown per fight but really only wrestles when the opportunity to do so just falls into his lap. He is frustrating to watch because you know how talented he is, but he never seems to let his hands go. It's always one punch at a time and very ow volume. He is coming off the upset win over Kennedy Nzhuchkwu where neither guy looked great, but Ovince showcased some toughness
Ryan Spann
Ryan Spann is a 6'5 powerhouse with an incredible 81″reach. He's very dangerous with 18 stoppages in his 21 wins but he's not all power, he also wrestles and averages more than 1 takedown per fight with 12 of his stoppage wins being submissions. Ryan Spann is incredibly dangerous and has the cardio to be a threat the entire 15 minutes. He is coming of this 3rd loss in a row, this time a finish to Bogdan Guskov
