This is officially the toughest fight on the card to break down. At one point in time Dominick Reyes was a very good fighter, then he became a dog shit fight, and now with 2 wins in a row, he might be on his way back to good. Nikita on the other hand was never very good or dog shit. He's always been consistent. He's not physically gifted, but he grinds and has some great wins. He also hasn't fought in 2 years. This feels very much like Reyes either wins early or not at all. Nikita has great wrestling and as long as he didn't take steps back he can win this fight. I am going with yet another underdog here in Nikita but by the slightest margin, this fight is 50/50 and I'm curious what our AI has to say.
Nikita Krylov
Nikita Krylov is a well rounded guy with very good wrestling and striking. He has nice forward pressure and mixes his striking with grappling very well. He has solid takedowns and averages more than 2 per fight. He is coming off the win over dominant grappling win over Volkan Ozedmir where he had 7 takedowns.
Dominick Reyes
Dominick Reyes is a former title challenger who many argue beat Jon Jones. But since that title loss he has been knocked out in back to back to back fights. Style wise he's primarily a striker who has ok power but clean technique and timing. He has 2 takedowns in the UFC with a low 28% accuracy but a very solid 80% takedown defense. He just broke an insane 4 fight skid with a quick Ko win over Dustin Jacoby.
