These odds are dead even at -110 a piece and I get it. Muin is winless in the UFC and Kang, while succesful, is aging. I think this could be Muin's first UFC win. He has wrestling, he has a willingness to trade and he is durable. The willingness to trade is concerning because of Kang's power but I think Muin will wrestle heavy here because he is likely fighting for his job. Muin is the pick and I am going to watch the odds to see if he moves to an actual dog before placing a bet.
Muin Gafurov
Muin Gafurov is a wrestler who will plant his feet and trade punch for punch with anyone. He is incredibly exciting, incredibly high paced and has solid skills everywhere. He has power in his hands, solid wrestling, solid speed, solid cardio but he does get sucked into brawls where he loses complete control of the situations. He is still looking for his first win in the UFC,but his 2 losses are quality. He lost in a short notice UFC debut to Sexi Mexi and then most recently was caught by Saaid Nurmagomedov when he shot a takedown.
Kyung Ho Kang
Kyung Ho Kang is a well rounded fighter who uses range to keep you at distance before working in takedowns. He averages averages about 2 takedowns per fight and once he gets you to the ground, he has heavy top pressure and solid submissions. He is a pretty low volume striker, but he does have great power. He is coming off the decision loss John Castaneda where he was taken down 3 times.
