Mitch will be Andre's second short notice opponent for this card and the odds reflect that with Lima being a 2-1 favorite. That makes sense to me, while I do think Mitch is a solid fighter, I think Lima will be too well rounded and too prepared. If he is having trouble with the striking he can move over to the grappling and have success there. So Lima will be the pick, but i do Caution you to not bet on this. Mitch is good and might be a lot better than we know. His Contender Series loss was on short notice to Jake Hadley who we know is nasty and his loss on TUF was to a nasty wrestler. Andre Lima is good, Andre Lima should win, but I will keep my money at these 2-1 odds.

Mitch Raposo

Mitch Raposo is a New England Cartel guy so he's with Rob Font and Calvin Kattar . That whole team fights the same. Clean boxing, clean striking and wrestling gaps. Mitch is definitely a prospect in the Northeast and one of the better flyweights in that region. He is only 25 years old but he has been training since middle school. He has had a few cracks at the UFC with a loss on the Ultimate Fighter and then a short notice loss on the Contender Series to Jake Hadley, but he's young and evolving. He has more power than most, clean striking and is very comfortable in the cage. He can be hittable because his hands are low but he has a decent enough chin.

Andre Lima

Andre Lima Is a solid striker who invests in the body early. He has solid technique and used it well. He throws combinations, isn't lazy with anything and will mix up strikes well. He is essentially a pure striker though with solid defense. Meaning he isn't typically looking to get his own takedowns and has solid takedown defense as well as solid submission defense and a get up game if he does end up on the ground. He has 2 takedowns in the UFC but his plan is trypically to keep the fight standing and get it done there. He is coming off the win over Igor Severino where he was bit so the fight was stopped and he won by DQ.
