It wasn't just a few weeks ago that Jacob unwittingly almost broke up Michel's marriage and now Michel is fighting for his life on instagram. And while I don't think a few personal life distractions are going to be the difference between winning and losing, i do think Michel needs to be laser focused on his cardio. Michel should win, he's big, fast, strong and dangerous, but if Abus is able to weather the storm, this could be a sneaky long fight. Michel is the pick but if i bet here, its likely and ITD Dec. Michel Pereira is an absolute beast who for the majority of his career was a very large 170lber who struggled with weight. Now he is a large 185lber who rattled off 3 dominant wins in a row. Even though he has 43 professional fights, he is only 31 years old and has plenty of career ahead of him. He has powerful hands, solid wrestling, solid BJJ and incredible athleticism. He's good at everything offensively, but as we saw in hi last fight, he can be a better hammer than nail.
Abus Magomedov
Abus Magomedov is a versatile striker with wrestling as a backup plan. He has very sneaky power because it never looks like he's throwing big shots but he can put people down. He is a long striker who does a great job using his length to counter and keep people on the end of his strikes. He will throw everything from tight hooks to head kicks and even though he can be hittable, he recognizes if he is on the wrong end of an exchange and quickly shoots double legs to get it to the ground. He is coming off the submission win over Brunno Ferreira where he was in trouble early but managed to stay composed
