Marlon Vera vs. Deiveson Figueiredo
VERA VS. FIGUEIREDO

I want to pick Chito here. He's grown on me. I wasn't the biggest Chito fan for a while and I think thats because his fans made him out to be this world level striker when in reality, he's just durable and powerful. He's not very technical but his durability has become that of legends. The knee he ate from Sean O'Malley was insane. I also think it will be his undoing here. There's no way Figgy saw his last fight and says “let me strike with this guy”. Figgy will come forward, wrestle early and potentially have success. There's only 3 rounds to work here and Chito is a slow starter. The pick is going to be Figgy, but I'm going to stay away from bets here, Chito is big and if he keeps the fight standing, things could get interesting.

Marlon Vera

Marlon “Chito” Vera is a Muay Thai striker who likes to fight ugly. He does a great job using all of his tools for a pretty versatile attack style. While he doesn't wrestle often, he is a submission threat if it gets to the ground. He does have a negative striking differential and is hittable but he has so much power and such a great chin that even when he is completely outstruck his opponents' faces look like they have been through a meat grinder. He is coming off the decision loss to Sean O'Malley where he ate one of the biggest knees in UFC history.

Deiveson Figueiredo

Deiveison Figuerdo is th former flyweight champion of the world who is trying to reinvent himself at Bantamweight. He was very big for 125lbs which helped him be powerful and impose his will, but it also affected his cardio. He moved up to 135lbs last year and was successful against Rob Font where he basically turned into a Dagastani. He is a well rounded guy who is dangerous everywhere. He has power in his hands, well timed takedowns, a BJJ blackbelt and some dog in him. His most recent win was a second round submission of Cody Garbrandt at UFC 300.
