Marcin is old, kinda slow, has an insane haircut and not amazing. But he's also a grinder that can get fights to the ground and we saw how useless Jhonata is on the ground. This should be Marcin. Obviously he will have to eat some shots on the way in, which he couldn't do vs Aspinall, but I think he can here. Tybura is the pick and if I had odds, there would be a bet as well.
Marcin Tybura
Marcin Tybura is a durable grinder who never quits and is busy everywhere. His striking is just ok and he is more of a “punches in bunches” kind of guy. The strikes are really there to setup his takedowns. If he gets a takedown he will pound on you till you quit and doesn't need to look for submissions. Tybura averages a little more than one takedown per fight but has a low 33% accuracy. Instead of clean doubles and shots he relies on body locks and trips to get it to the ground. He is coming off the first round submission loss to Serghei Spivac
Jhonata Diniz
Jhonata Diniz is a very good striker with clean technique and incredible power. He throws in combinations, has clean defense, great speed for his size and professional kickboxing experiance. His takedown defense is solid but relatively untested. He is only 8-0 but he does have 7 stoppages. He is coming off the decision win over Karl Williams where he landed big early and looked great being being taken down and looking useless.
