Timothy Cuamba is a good sized favorite at almost 2-1 and I think that is heavy recency bias. He looked good in a short notice loss up in weight while Lucas is riding back to back losses. If Cuamba was a big time wrestler, I would understand the line gap, but in a striker vs striker matchup with Lucas having the much higher level of competition, I am going Lucas. Cuamba can be low volume and if Lucas pushes the pace, and his chin holds up, he can take over. Lucas is the pick in what could be a fun fight.

Lucas Almeida

Lucas Almeida is a powerful striker who loves throwing a heavy 1-2. He comes forward and sets up a big right hand. When he senses blood he will literally drop his hands and march forward throwing whatever he needs to to get the finish. But he is aware enough to know that he is a striker and not a grappler so if he ends up on top in a scramble, often times he literally just stands up and resets. Timothy Cuamba is a striker with good takedown defense, fast hands and decent power for his weight class. He does a great job working the body with an early investment hoping for a late payoff. He's very technical and not gun shy but I wouldn't categorize him as a killer. He has some takedowns but they don't feel comfortable and the control is almost non-existent.
