This is a tough fight to pick because they are relatively evenly matched, if you use their last performance as the barometer. Quang Le on short notice against Chris Gutierrez looked good. Yea, he was out struck like an MF'er, but he still moved forward without fear and got the takedowns. I think if he does that in this fight he can have some success. Ultimately though I am going to pick Xiao because what didn't go well for Quang was the striking. While he moved forward without fear, his face was dotted up. The nonstop wrestling from Xiao can likely get it done here so he will be the pick.
Long Xiao
Long Xiao is a grappler who isn't particularly dangerous but is very durable as well. He has a wealth of experience with 35 fights and carries that composure with him. He doesn't panic if things aren't going well and despite his record, things don't go well for him pretty often. He can be taken down, he can be touched up, he can stuggle with guys who pressure forward. But he typically finds ways to win and takes a “wrestle at all costs” type approach.
Quang Le
Quang Le is coming off a loss in a short notice step up against Chris Gutierrez. He was scheduled to fight on the Contender Series but stepped up on a few days notice and had a decent outing. He wasn't afraid, moved forward, threw big and even had a few takedowns. Style wise he is striker with a Muay Thai stance. He is light on his toes, has the rolled shoulders and likes to plot forward. He finds his range with kicks and likes to hang on the outside of the pocket.
