If Kurt was a more dominant wrestler, I would confident in him here. He has more high level experience and is definitely the more well rounded fighter. The problem though is that he doesn't wrestle as much as he should and I can't necessarily expect him to here. I do think Kaynan is the better striker and the more dangerous fighter in general, but I am thinking that Kurt's durability and composure will suit him well. I am going to pick Kurt here, but with almost no confidence at all and certainly no money.
Kurt Holobaugh
Kurt Holobaugh won this past season of the Ultimate FIghter. Style wise Kurt is a come forward striker with pressure and power. He marches forward, throws combinations, then ducks out, resets and goes again. He has some wrestling as well but could use a little more takedown defense. His BJJ however is very good and looked incredible in his fight against Austin Hubbard to win the Ultimate Fighter. He is coming off the decision loss to Trey Ogden where he couldn't defend the takedowns and couldn't get up after being taken down.
Kaynan Kruschewsky
Kaynan Kruschewsky is a stalking striker who will walk you down, take his time and then explode when he sees openings. He does a nice job of controlling center and throwing accurate strikes. He can seem a bit low volume but he will let the hands go in the pocket. His striking defense isn't great and neither is his takedown defense but he has very solid BJJ. He is coming off the insanely short notice loss to Elves Brenner in his UFC debut.
