I have been very successful picking Bryan Battle fights, and I don't see that stopping any time soon. The only time I picked against him was in the Rinat fight and honestly, that fight is why I have been so confident in him in these lats 3 matchups. Bryan may not be the most skilled guy in his fights, but he is an absolute workhorse. He never stops moving forward never stops working, never stops forcing action. He is improving at an insane pace and you combine that with his cardio, he is going to beat a lot of people. I see Bryan's pressure giving Kevin issues, especially. late. Battle is the pick, but this is definitely a tough matchup.
Kevin Jousset
Kevin Jousset is a stalky striker who plots forward with low hands and low volume. When he finally closes the distance he likes to work you to the cage for control and takedowns. He is insanely patient in everything he does and uses his size to slow thing down. His takedowns are slow, his striking is slow, but he is big for the weight class, very strong and knows how to use that size to his advantage. He is coming the decision win over Song Kenan where he landed an insane 134 significant strikes.
Bryan Battle
Bryan Battle is a dog fight kind of fighter. He is constantly pressuring and constantly working towards something. He has shown us that he has a solid ground game and is never out of a fight. He averages around 1 takedown per fight but has a miserable 28% takedown accuracy. He is improving at an incredible pace. Every single fight he physically looks different and his skills are more polished. He is coming off the no contest with Ange Loosa where he was dominating but an eye poke gave Ange the out he needed.
