Women can have longer careers than men for the most part and we have seen a bit of that with Karolina. She was 38 years old for a bit of that recent win streak but she finally is starting to look older and slower and someone like Denise Gomes can absolutely exploit that. Denise is fast, powerful and rilling to wrestle if needed. i think Denise wins here unless Karolina fights her the same way Angela Hill did with a lot of distance and takedowns. Gomes is the pick but 5-1 favorite is obscene.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Karolina Kowalkewicz is a good kickboxer with solid technique and grit. She averages almost 6 significant strikes per minute and has maintained a solid 73% takedown defense. She has had a long career with a lot of ups and downs. It wasn't too long ago that she fought for a title, shortly after that she hit a 4 fight losing streak and more recently she was on a nice 4 fight winning streak. They did however just come crashing down in her last fight when she lost to Iasmin Lucindo and looked old and slow in the process.

Denise Gomes

Denise Gomes is a striker who can grapple as well. She can be hittable but is incredibly tough and never out of a fight. She will continue to come forward, bite down and bomb away. It takes her a few minutes to get going, but once she is dialed in, she picks up the pace and has no problem taking one to give one. She works in kicks well and can be dangerous on the ground. She is coming off the decision win over Eduarda Moura where she gave up 5 takedowns but dominated the striking.
