Jacqueline is almost a 2-1 favorite here and I imagine this is all recency bias. I think this is much closer and will actually be picking the underdog. Jacqueline hasn't fought in a year and when she did fight she was losing exchanges to a 40 year old because she doesn't like pressure. Josiane Nunes only knows how to walk forward and is literally afraid of nothing. She lost her last fight because she fought a giant. I see Nunes walking forward, throwing bombs and taking a decision here. Luckily the odds are so crazy that we might get a good deal on a +3.5
Josiane Nunes
Josiane Nunes is a powerful striker who throws very very hard. She's not a great grappler, but her striking is solid and busy. She likes to come forward with leg kicks and then bomb away with big overhand lefts. She is compact but does not have issues with range even when she is much shorter than most of her opponents. She hits very hard but is wild and can be easily out techniqued. She is coming off the decision loss to a Sasquatch where she walked forward and threw haymakers without a care in the world.
Jacqueline Calvacanti
Jacqueline Calvacante is a long striker who uses footwork and faints to manage range. She does a good job working your legs early to slow you down and then working up to the head. She keeps her striking technical and when she finds a rhythm she works forward, pressures and will even look for the occasional takedown. When she is moving forward she cna be effective, but she does not back up well. She is definitely a striker, but but won't shy away from cage control, trips or ground and pound. She is coming off a win on her UFC debut over Zarah Fairn where she didnt like the pressure.
