This is a ridiculous matchup. Not because it's a mismatch or anything dramatic, but because it is impossible to pick a side or spend money here. Josh Fremd struggles with anyone he can't easily take down and Andre Petroski knocked himself out when he shot a takedown. You cannot trust these people. I am going to pick Petroski here though but only because of the defensive wrestling. Josh will likely struggle to take Andre down which means he himself will be taken down or Andre could land that big power. With that being said, I want to remind you that not only was Petroski knocked out by a hip, he was also wobbled several times before that. He has zero chin whatsoever. Do not bet on this fight.

Josh Fremd

Josh Fremd is a grappler with solid athleticism and some sneaky power in his punches. When he can initiate the grappling exchanges he does very well. When he can't, he looks a bit lost. He has cardio, speed, power and is well rounded enough to adjust to where the fight goes. He has no true martial arts background in any specific discipline but he is well rounded enough. He is coming off the TKO loss to Roman Kopylov where it was clear that he will struggle with individual skill experts.

Andre Petroski

Andre Petroski is a very good wrestler with great takedowns. His standup is just ok but it is loaded with powershots that are there for the wrestling. When he does shoot takedowns they are fast and clean. He has solid BJJ as well that he uses to control positions and snatch up submissions. He is coming off the ridiculously bizare KO loss to Jacob Malkoun where he shot a takedown then collapsed because he is so chinny he was knocked out when he hit Malkoun's hip.
