Josh Culibao vs. Ricardo Ramos
CULIBAO VS RAMOS

Maybe I've been doing this for too long, or maybe staring at numbers has me all out of sorts, but I do not think Culibao should be a 2-1 favorite here. He's definitely good and should win, but he's also chinny and can't defend a takedown. Ricardo Ramos is dangerous and willing to wrestle. Culibao is the pick, but he will need to defend the chaos early to find his rhythm and take over.

Josh Culibao

Josh Culibao is a solid striker who is agressive and tough. He throws heat and is always live for a KO. He's willing to engage in a dirty inside the pocket fight. He has no problem making it ugly and you can see that with his negative striking differential. He is not much of a grappler though and while he has solid takedown defense at 67% he is 0-10 on offensive takedown attempts. He is coming off the decision loss to Danny Silva where he was chinny early but seemed to wake up after being dropped and took over the striking.

Ricardo Ramos

Ricardo Ramos is a very dangerous fighter who is good everywhere. He is a tall rangy striker with slick BJJ. He has high kicks, spinning kicks, a great jab and solid leg kicks. If it hits the ground he's always hunting for a submission and is very fast in those transitions. He is coming off his second submission 1st round submission loss in a row, this time he was able to land 2 strikes and get 2 takedowns before being guillotined.
