Jasmine is my girl. We have successfully bet on her many times over both as a dog and as a favorite. She has taken more than one Safety Parlay to the promise land. But being a 2-1 favorite here feels a little wide. I'm going to pick her in this fight for the same reason I have picked her in every other fight, her grit and wrestling pressure. But Mayra Bueno Silva is no joke. She is on a 2 fight skid but one was a tittle fight to Rocky where she had 3 takedowns and her most recent loss was a cut stoppage at UFC 303 in the second round where she won the first. Jasmine should still win here because of the wrestling, but she isn't dangerous, so she will need to fight a perfect 15 minutes of takedowns and control which may prove tough. I am likely avoiding bets here.
Jasmine Jasudavicius
Jasmine Jasudavicius is a wrestler who who likes to come forward and push the pace with her striking before she works in her takedowns. She has a solid clinch where she controls your body, throws heavy knees and then works some takedowns from there. She is a very accomplished wrestler with fantastic hips so that even if she has a bad entry which creates a scramble she will end up on top. She is coming off the dominant win over Ariane Lipski where she had the takedowns and the control but somehow blew up the over 2.5 by 2 seconds.
Mayra Bueno Silva
Mayra Bueno Silva is a pretty good striker with solid power and good kicks. She likes charging forward and throwing from there. She's a very good grappler as well but like so many others, the problem is she doesn't have very good wrestling so even if she wants to get it to the ground to grapple, she may not be able to. She is one of the more dangerous women in the division especially on the ground. She is coming off the loss to Macy Chiasson where she was having success before the doctor stopped it because of a cut.
