Jai Herbert is likely the more technical striker here and he is certainly the more successful of the two. But his output is abysmal and Rolando is the energizer bunny. We just watched Jai lose a fight because he wouldn't let his hands go. I have no doubt in my mind that Rolando will move forward and probably land over 100 strikes. Rolando is the pick and I have a half of a unit on him at +145.
Jai Herbert
Jai Herbert is a technical striker who likes to keep the fight at range. He has a ton of movement and his feet are never planted for more than half a second. He is always cutting angles, fainting and moving from side to side. He can be a bit low volume and does have a negative striking differential. He is coming off the decision loss to Fares Ziam where his inactivity was the issue.
Rolando Bedoya
Rolando Bedoya is an in and out striker who has lots of movement and variety with his strikes. He will work in kicks and striking combinations well but does seem to lack raw one punch knockout power. He never throws just one strike at a time which helps keep him ahead on the scorecards but he is very hittable. His takedown defense is pretty solid and he has submissions if he needs them. He is coming off a decision loss to Song Kenan where his output was great but he did get dropped.
