Listen, I got the pick wrong when I picked against Jacqueline last time. But my analysis was correct and I am doubling down on it. Jacqueline does not fight nearly as well moving backward as she does forward. Nora isn't great, but she does have power and is constantly throwing something. Jacqueline will 100% back up and Nora's power might be a problem, let alone the short notice. I once again am picking against Jacqueline while she is a favorite.
Jacqueline Cavalcanti
Jacqueline Calvacante is a long striker who uses footwork and faints to manage range. She does a good job working your legs early to slow you down and then working up to the head. She keeps her striking technical and when she finds a rhythm she works forward, pressures and will even look for the occasional takedown. When she is moving forward she can be effective, but she does not back up well. She is definitely a striker, but but won't shy away from cage control, trips or ground and pound. She is coming off the decision win over Josiane Nunes just a few events ago where I felt you could've given Josiane the nod.
Nora Cornolle
Nora Cornolle is a violent striker with power and aggression. She does a great job using all of her tools. She will elbow against the cage, knee in the clinch, punch and kick at range and do everything she can to KO or TKO. She is a gamer who is always striking with something. She doesn't look to wrestle often but when on the ground she has solid BJJ and will take risks chasing submissions. She is coming off the KO finish over Melissa Mullins where she showed great power and threw straight punches.
