This 2.0 version of Yousseff is a different animal. The wrestling is incredible and the ground control is next level. I picked and bet against Youssef in his return to the UFC and I have since come to my senses. He was actually on one of our call in shows a few months ago and gave us a peak into his work ethic and general positivity. I love Youssef in this matchup, i think he can be the better wrestler, the better grappler and the more technical striker. He is an affordable -225 right now and I will likely work with that.
Jack Shore
Jack Shore is a very good grappler who likes to move forward and is constantly looking for a takedown. Both his wrestling and striking are similar forward pressure styles. He works in kicks nicely and is all around a good fighter with a solid striking differential and 3 takedowns per fight on average. He is coming off the disgusting loss to Joanderson Brito where he didn't do much and then his shin bone was exposed.
Yousseff Zalal
Youssef Zalal was cut from the UFC last year but has come back and looks like an absolute buzzsaw. Style wise he is a very well rounded fighter who likes to hang out on outside then comes in with solid takedowns. He averages more than 2 takedowns per fight and has been grappling more as of late. His striking style is to stay on the outside and point fight. He is a high IQ guy that can be low volume but he also has incredible defense, he is only hit with 1.73 significant strikes per minute, which considering he has 6 decisions in the UFC is an incredible stat. He is coming off the destruction of Jarno Errans where he had early leg kicks and a beautifully timed takedown which lead to a submission.
