I am going underdog again here. I actually am shocked to see Frevola as the favorite. Sure, he has wrestling and power in his hands, but he has cardio issues and Fares is a master at avoiding danger. Fares has the french Savate style where he will stay outside of range and have matt chasing power. Matt also lost his best training partner in Merab when Merab left for the O'Malley camp. This is Frevola in the first or not at all. Fares is the pick and I expect to be bored.

Fares Ziam

Fares Ziam is a long rangy striker who also works well in the clinch. He manages range with solid leg kicks and when he decides to close the distance he works to a clinch where he has solid elbows. He is a technical fighter and avoids risk. He picks his shots well and only engages when he sees an opporunity. He takes his time and looks to point his way to victory. He is coming off the sketchy win over Claudio Puelles where he was taken down constantly but was given the decision because of his pressure.

Matt Frevola

Matt Frevola is a tough wrestler who never stops coming forward. He doesn't have the most technical striking but that doesn't stop him from charging forward and throwing big looping shots or in some cases, even sloppy backlists. He averages almost 3 takedowns per fight with a low 40% accuracy. He has 14 takedowns in 10 fights but but is very inconsistent with when he actually uses them. He is coming off the KO loss to BSD where he did decide to wrestle early
