Emily is closing in on a 3-1 favorite here and while I do agree she should be the favorite and should win, Vanessa has some dog in her and stays busy like the energizer bunny. Neither woman here is a finisher or a dominant grappler so this will come down to striking and cardio. I think Vanessa will have the cardio and volume edge, but Emily should be the better striker and likely wins a 29-28. EMILY DUCOTE

Emily Ducote is the former Invicta champion with slick counter striking, legitmate power, and very good wrestling defense. She is durable and accurate. What she does well is throw straight punches and come right down the middle. She has not had a ton of success in the UFC at 2-2 but in her defense her losses are to high level opponents in Loopy Godinez and Angela Hill. And her wins are over women she should be beating like Jessica Penne and most recently Ashley yoder where she had a takedown and the busier striking.

VANESSA DEMOPOLOUS

Vanessa Demopoulos is a solid striker who likes the pocket. She doesn't have real power but she does have volume and footwork. If it does get to the ground Vanessa has solid grappling and can make something happen. She is coming off the decision win over Kanako Murata where she was taken down 5 times, gave up 10 minutes of control and landed 3 fewer significant strikes.
