I was surprised to see that Darren was a dog here. Sure, he's old, but so is Pineda. Elkins is the more durable of the two and can fight a full 15 without fading. My only concern would be early wrestling success from Pineda, but even that won't last long and Elkins would take over later. Darren is the pick and I have a quarter of a unit, because i am a chicken, on him at +102.
Darren Elkins
Darren Elkins is incredibly tough and literally wears it as a badge of honor in the form of scars. He is always live for a finish and is the definiton of a grinder. He comes forward with heavy strikes to close the distance, cut off the cage and work his grappling. He is pretty good wrestler with incredible top pressure. He is coming off the submission win over TJ brown where he had 5 takedowns
Daniel Pineda
Daniel Pineda is a feast or famine fighter ho has two decisions in his 44 fight career. He is a very good wrestler with solid grappling. He comes out very fast and is incredibly dangerous for about 3 minutes, he quickly fades and can be finished shorlty after. But in that initial burst, he has powerful hands, agressive grappling and is a real problem. He is coming off the loss to Nathaniel wood where he was dropped and only went 1 for 6 in takedown attempts
