You're going to see Daniel's record and immediately jump to conclusions. He looks like a savage on paper and while I agree he is very good, a lot of these wins are far closer than the green Tapology dot will have you think. He barely beat Davey Grant and some people even think he was losing his last fight before he made sure Aoiqileng could never have kids. I like the non-stop pressure, pace and hopefully takedown attempts of Castaneda here so he is the pick. I think this is a close fight either way and likely a fun decision so betting the over is a decent spot.

Daniel Marcos

Daniel Marcos is an effective striker with power and accuracy. He does a nice job stringing together combinations and marching forward. He will throw one twos and follow up with flying knees and elbows. His takedown defense is solid at 89% and with 8KOs and 7 decision wins we know he's dangerous but also has the cardio for 3 rounds. He is coming off the no contest when he blasted Aoriqileng in the nuts twice.

John Castaneda

John “Sexy Mexi” Castenda is a really fun come forward fighter. He's very well rounded and sets an incredible pace. He's a former D2 wrestler who loves coming forward with fast hands and then shooting takedowns when he has the opening. He does not have a ton of power but he makes up for that with forward pressure and a wide variety of strikes. He is coming off the straight forward win over Kyung ho Kang where he controlled the striking and grappling.
