We are headed to Las Vegas! This week we are headed to the Apex and have an incredible DraftKings slate to look through! First, before we get into the plays, let's ensure we have the event details locked in so we don't miss out on any of the actions. This event is taking place Saturday 18th, February 2023 at the Apex in Las Vegas. The prelims will kick things off at 4pm eastern followed by the main card at 7pm eastern. Here are the core plays that I plan to use with my DraftKings lineups;
Juancamilo Ronderos VS Clayton Carpenter
The first fight of the night! Carpenter is coming from DWCS. Physically Carpenter is ready for this fight and is young. Overall, Carpenter has looked great in the cage. Ronderos is coming off a loss in his UFC debut. The takedown and grappling worry me for Ronderos. I am loving Carpenter to come in with his grappling skills to earn the win. Carpenter is the spend up option of the week for me at the price tag of $9,300 on DraftKings.
Jamall Emmers VS Khusein Askhabov
A nice fight overall. Emmers has been inconsistent in the cage but always brings the fight. Khusein is no pushover and a submission machine. Khuesein can out-grapple Jamall which is where the edge is for him. Khusein is a dangerous fighter and will make the most of his UFC debut. I am loving Khusein to get the job done. I am expecting high intensity action in this fight racking up DraftKings points. The price tag on DraftKings fit's extremely well for Khusein coming in at $8,300.
Jim Miller VS Alexander Hernandez
The veteran is here! Miller is another legend on this card and a submission machine. Miller is on a 3 fight win streak and easily a UFC Hall of Famer. Hernandez is coming off two losses. Hernandez has huge pop in his striking and has decent wins in the past, but nothing impressive. I am really liking Miller to win this fight and bring the momentum that he is on to this fight. Give me the legend in Miller who can earn a submission win coming in at a cheap price tag of $7,300 on DraftKings.
Zac Pauga VS Jordan Wright
The CO- Main Event! Pauga is the massive favorite in this fight and coming off a loss. Pauga has big wins and massive pop. Wright we know has good hands also and power behind his striking. I see Pauga winning based on his striking and earning the win on a knockout punch. I don't trust Wright at all who will stand around with his hands low waiting to get hit. I am looking for a knockout win from Pauga in which he can pay off his $9,200 DraftKings price tag.
