We have an incredible DraftKings slate to look through! First, before we get into the plays, let's ensure we lock in the event details so we don't miss out on any of the action. This event occurs Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey The prelims will kick things off at 7 pm Eastern and the main card at 10 pm Eastern. Here are the core plays that I plan to use with my DraftKings lineups;
Parker Porter vs Braxton Smith
We kick the card off with a big boy fight! Smith is making his UFC Debut while Porter is coming off two losses. Despite the losses, Porter has a ton of fights under him and has heavy hands. I do like Porter who can come out swinging but I think Smith could do the same. I like Smith by a hair in round one then Porter if it gets to round two. The value we can get from Smith though on DraftKings at $7,600 can sort out our lineup well.
Kron Gracie VS Charles Jourdain
It has been little over 3 years since Kron fought in which he lost to Cub Swanson via decision. Jourdain is coming off a two-loss streak so far. The boxing and striking output is there for Jourdain. Kron is fantastic on the ground and that is where he can win this fight. This is a style fight, to be honest. This fight is close to me and I like Kron to get him to the mat quickly to end this fight. The DraftKings price tag of $7,500 with finishing ability is fantastic for Kron.
Khaos Williams VS Rolando Bedoya
What an interesting fight. Khaos is Khaos on the feet with the power he brings. Bedoya is making his UFC debut and this is a tough fight for him. Khaos can win this fight on the feet working around how slow Bedoya is along with the chin. I will keep this short and sweet with Khaos by stating he is the highest-priced fighter for a reason. Khaos at the price tag of $9,500 deserves to be the price he is at DraftKings. Lock and load, let Khaos reign.
Aljamain Sterling VS Henry Cejudo
For the bantamweight belt and main event! It has been a little less than 3 years since we have seen Cejudo in the cage but he is back! It has been 5 months since Sterling had his win. Cejudo didn't lose the belt when he had it and now wants it back badly. Sterling has amazing grappling and can hang on his feet. Cejudo I think can combat any game plan Sterling brings in. Cejudo is 10 times better on the ground and can takedown Sterling. The kicks Cejudo can bring also are second to none. I am all over Cejudo to win this fight despite the layoff at the DraftKings price on Cejudo of $8,100.
