Without question this will be an exciting fight because both of these men are dangerous and both of them will look for a finish. Abdul has high level Judo in his back pocket and almost never uses it, not even defensively. That means we will have a striking match here and at that point it is 50/50. I am going to pick the underdog in Cody because of his insane pressure early and his wrestling. You might think the easy bet here is the under 1.5, but don't forget, everyone just got burned on that in the Bo Nickal fight. Cody is at a great gym, with solid teammates and he just got the Turkish hair replacement – let's not forget how good Damon Jackson looked after his.
Cody Brundage
Cody Brundage is a heavy handed kill or be killed wrestler. He has no problem coming forward, throwing heavy and then working in a takedown. He does have a pretty high level wrestling background that he brings into the cage. He averages almost 3 takedowns per fight but even dominant wrestling and big power can't always keep him safe. He has questionable fight IQ with some random guillotine pulls but he is always exciting to watch. He is coming off the loss to Bo Nickal where at one point Bo shot a takedown and Cody just shucked him clean off and against the cage.
Abdul Razak Alhassan
Abdul Razak Al Hassan is a powerful striker who tends to head hunt while looking for a knockout. He is actually a high level judo practitioner that fell in love with his striking and power. He's an incredibly talented guy but doesn't always use all of his tools. He is coming off the submission loss to Joe Pyfer where he was expecting a striking match but ended up defending takedowns.
