The last time Christian didn't fight a young prospect, he lost. Julian will be the most experienced fighter he has ever stood across the cage from and I am curious to see how he handles the veteran savvy. Julian is very dangerous and an absolute dog whereas Christian is not particularly dangerous, but he is very composed and has incredible cardio. The odds have Christian as a 2-1 favorite and while I think Ceerod wins, those seem wide. I get that he has a ton of hype around him right now, but the reality is that you could dig into each win and discredit it with a weight miss or sketchy decision. Christian's durability and cardio are going to make him the pick, but I will likely be watching the line movement tracker to see if the odds tighten at any point.
Christian Rodriguez
Christian Rodriguez is a slick striker with solid movement and good speed. He has decent takedown defense at 66% but has been taken down 20 times so far in the UFC. He has become a bit of a prospect buster as of late with 3 wins in a row over 3 prospects. The most recent win was a ridiculously controversial decision over Isaac Dulgarian where he gave up 7 takedowns and 9 minutes of control
Julian Erosa
Julian Erosa is a long guy for the weight-class and he uses his length really well both on his feet and on the ground. He is very well rounded with high output striking at more than 6 signifigant strikes per minute and solid wrestling at almost 2 takedowns per fight. He is dangerous everywhere and an absolute dog. He is coming off a bounce back win over Ricardo Ramos where he snatched up a guillotine early.
