Gabriella Fernandes is a big favorite here and thats probably because Carli doesn't wrestle. It's clear that all you need to beat Gabriella is some takedowns because she will hangout on her back without the ability to scramble up. With Carli not looking to wrestle, this should be a striking match and Gabriella may have the power, size and striking advantage. Carli has a ton of volume and we know Vegas judges love pressure and volume. This is much closer than the 3-1 odds and while i am going to pick Gabriella, I will be placing a +3.5 bet on Carli because I am seeing a 29-29 or split decision here.

Carli Judice

Carli Judice is a striker with decent combinations and volume. She does a good job mixing in punches and kicks and alternates between the two quickly. She sets a nice pace and can move forward throwing combinations for the entire fight. She can be taken down but has a solid get up game when she is taken down. She is coming off a close decision loss on the Contender Series which apparently was enough to get a n actual UFC slot.

Gabriella Fernandes

Gabriella Fernandes is a powerful striker. She is big, strong, fast and technical. She has very solid striking and solid BJJ as well. Her takedown defense is ok but it is mostly her being bigger and stronger and less about her using the right techniques. She has solid BJJ and can work well off her back but it almost works against her at times where instead of scrambling back to her feet where she will be the better striker, she will play a BJJ game. She is coming off the loss to Tereza Bleda where she was taken down 3 times.
