If you couldn't tell from my Caolan Loughran breakdown, I can't stand this kid. He runs his mouth, says he's the next Conor, then cant even bully a 125lber. He's not fun to watch, not fun to listen to and frankly just frustrating. He actually has skills, he just refuses to use them. He is perfectly happy standing there and throwing one strike every 4 minutes. If I could trust Caolan to move forward, keep the pressure on and land big, he would be a decent pick here because Fletcher is sloppy. But I can't so Fletcher is the pick. He has dog in him, he has cardio and he won't quit. Nathan Fletcher is the pick and this likely goes to a decision
Caolan Loughran
Pre UFC Caolan Loughran was a powerful guy who had a wide base that he used to send kicks and generate power. In the UFC Coalan is a non-commital low volume striker who has added wrestling to make up for his lack of power. He does have solid takedown defense and nice takedowns himself. He is a busy striker with good footwork that moves forward but he can be a bit hittable at times because of the wide stance. He is coming off the decision loss to teeny tiny 125lb Jake Hadley
Nathan Fletcher
Nathan Fletcher is an Ultimate Fighter alumni who broke his leg but still pressured forward and fought. He is coming out of that same fight camp as Paddy and Molly and honestly fights similarly. Obviously Molly is a striker and Paddy is a grappler, but they are both forward pressure fighters who don't quit and Nathan is more of the same. Nathan is pretty well rounded with solid grappling and solid striking. He is always looking for a finish and has a decent chin. He is coming the submission win over Zygmantis Ramaska where he had big takedowns but was a bit sloppy.
