Bruno Silva is tough and aggressive, but the progress Josh Van makes between fights is incredible. Every fight we see him in he is cleaner and faster. His confidence is through the roof and it shows. My one and only concern for him in this fight is the chin. While he hasn't historically been a chinny guy, he did get put out by Charles Johnson last year. Bruno may end up biting down and marching forward with haymakers which is great because Josh will see that coming from a mile away, but nerve wracking because Bruno is top 5 hardest hitters in that division. Josh is the pick but the odds seems to be running into unusable territory.
Bruno Silva
Bruno Silva is a well rounded guy with solid power, strong wresting and nasty submissions. He's literally good everywhere. He isn't clean or technical, but he is very tough and likes to make fights ugly. He has incredible power and can put anyone in the division on their ass. He started his UFC career with a bit of a skid but managed to string together 4 finish wins. He is coming off the finish loss to Manel Kape where the technique wasn't there but the toughness was on full display.
Joshua Van
Josh Van is a solid striker with aggression and a bit of power. His takedown and scramble skills are decent and as he is only 23 years old, everything is improving from fight to fight. He is the new generation of fighter so even though he is primarily a striker, he is good everywhere and can grapple as well. He does a nice job looking for things in scrambles and making his opponents work. He is coming off the one sided win over Rei Tsuruya where he gave up a few takedowns but dominated the striking.
