This should be a another fun scrap. This fight doesn't do anything for rankings or the division as a whole, but it definitely does something for the fans. I fully expect some gun slinging and then eventual wrestling from Bruno. I understand why Petrosyan is the favorite, he should be, he's the far better striker. He was tagging up Shara before the KO. But I am still picking Bruno here. I think he has crazy enough power and unorthodox enough striking to find the target on the feet and if that doesn't work, I think he can work in some wrestling. We have only seen 1 takedown out of him in the UFC, but you don't have to be Connie Chung to find out he can grapple.
Brunno Ferreira
Bruno Ferreira is a very powerful striker who is light on his feet and constantly mixing up his attacks. He bounces on his toes which really helps him come in and out of the pocket well. Even though he is a fast, powerful striker with all finishes, he isn't reckless and can actually be low volume because he is waiting for his spots. He can grapple as well with powerful takedowns and slick, BJJ, but he is definitely a striker and only uses his grappling if he is in trouble or his opponents initiate it. He is coming off the submission loss to Abus Magomedov at UFC 308
Armen Petrosyan
Armen Petrosyan is a fun striker with a professional kickboxing background. He can be a bit of a brawler at times and does rely on his chin. He lands at an impressive almost 6 significant strikes per minute and is hit with around 3. He doesn't have the best takedown defense, but he has incredible scramble and get up skills. He is coming off the wrong side of an insane double backfist KO highlight.
