Brad Katona vs. Jesse Butler
KATONA VS BUTLER

Brad getting 4 takedowns in his last fight only shows you how versatile and self aware he is. He was getting out volumed so switched up his game plan. Jesse Butler, without being rude, is not UFC level. He has a few slick submissions but doesn't have the striking or wrestling to be impactful. Brad should dominate this fight even if it ends up being a decision.

Brad Katona

Brad Katona is the TUF 31 winner and he won that title in a fight of the night war. But that wasn't even his first time on the Ultimate Fighter, he was also on season 27 which he won as well. So he is a 2x TUF champion with a submission win over Bryce Mitchell. Style wise he is a mobile striker with power and volume. While he is primarily a striker, he is aware enough to transition to wrestling when needed. He has great low kicks, solid TD defense and plenty of cardio. He is coming off the extremely close loss to Garret Armfield where he had 4 takedowns but didn't do much with them and landed fewer strikes.

Jesse Butler

Jesse Butler is a grappler with decent takedowns and terrible takedown defense. When he is striking he likes to move forward and bomb away. There isn't much technique in there but he's not afraid of a firefight. Ultimately he got a UFC contract for being a short notice step up and this fight is his “thank you” matchup. He is coming off the 23 second KO loss to Jim Miller on short notice where he literally landed 1 strike before getting finished.
