Arnold in on a bit on a losing skid but they are quality losses. Zero shame in losing to Max Holloway or even the wet blanket Movsar. Giga on the other hand is coming off a win, but he didn't look great. He threw almost no combinations at all and was too slow to start. I think Arnold controls the striking rhythm here and this could look like when Kattar beat Giga. So Arnold is the pick and I am expecting this to go the distance.
Arnold Allen
Arnold Allen is a very good striker who loves coming forward. He has an upright stance which helps protect him when he is outside range, but then he comes lunging in with solid power. He has nice footwork and solid handspeed. He mixes in takedowns really well and has a few sneaky submissions. His takedown defense has evolved over the years and sits solidly at 75%. He is coming off the loss to Movsar Evloev where some controversial knees could've changed the outcome.
Giga Chikadze
Giga Chikadze is a very good striker with a solid jab and fantastic kicks. He does an incredible job managing range and uses his kicks to do so. The kicks keep you at distance and then he comes firing in with his hands. He is not a high volume guy landing around 4 signifigant strikes per minute but he does a nice job of keeping his opponents volume low as well. He is coming off the win over Alex Caceres where he didn't get going until the second round and was only landing one strike at a time.
