Anthony Hernandez is definitely good and has defied the odds a few times, but I don't see him winning here. Michel is too strong, too dangerous and is also too good of a grappler to just taken down and submitted and frankly that would be Anthony's only path. Anthony won't be able to strike with Michel or match the speed. So he will need to weather a storm, hope Michel fades and then grind. But even with his build, Michel has cardio and doesn't death gas. He has been to 5 decisions in the UFC with 4 wins. He has only ever been taken down 1 time and I see more of the same here. Michel Pereira is the pick and I have a half a unit on him at +135.
Anthony Hernandez
Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez is a very good grappler who is averaging almost 7 takedowns per fight. He has solid wrestling with real entries, he's a BJJ blackbelt and although he is willing to strike, that is not his path to victory. He is riding a 5 fight win streak, with the most recent being a a submission over Roman Kopylov.
Michel Pereira
Michel Pereira is an absolute beast who for the majority of his career was a very large 170lber who struggled with weight. Now he is a large 185lber who rattled off 3 dominant wins in a row. Even though he has 42 professional fights, he is only 31 years old and has plenty of career ahead of him. He has powerful hands, solid wrestling, solid BJJ and incredible athletecism. His athletecism was on full display in his last fight where he ragdolled Ihor Poteira before doing a backflip onto his body and submitting him
