This is another fight without odds this early, but I do like Dos Santos here. He has shown in both his wins and losses that he is an absolute dog. He remains dangerous, he pressures forward, he never accepts positions and he can make any fight ugly. Lima is good, but I think Santos will be too much. Lima struggled at times with Severino's pressure before the bite and Dos Santos will push a much harder pace. Dos Santos is the pick and if he is somehow a dog here, definitely loading up.
Andre Lima
Andre Lima Is a solid striker who invests in the body early. He has solid technique and used it well. He throws combinations, isn't lazy with anything and will mix up strikes well. He is essentially a pure striker though with solid defense. Meaning he isn't typically looking to get his own takedowns and has solid takedown defense as well as solid submission defense and a get up game if he does end up on the ground. He has 2 takedowns in the UFC but his plan is typically to keep the fight standing and get it done there. He is coming off the close win over Mitch Rapaso where he was taken down but controlled the striking.
Felipe dos Santos
Felipe dos Santos is a Chute Box Fighter through and through. He is aggressive, dangerous, good everywhere and has dyed hair. But like most Chute Box fighters, he is hittable. He likes to pressure forward throwing everything he can but that does leave him open for counters and takedowns. He is capable on the ground and does have offensive takedowns but they aren't great and he slows down late in fights. He will take chances and it doesn't always work out for him. He is coming off a the close decision win over Victor Altimarano where he was taken down 9 times.
